I only see screenshots — where is the editable template?

If you’ve just opened your template and are only seeing screenshots, don’t worry — this is expected behavior, and you haven’t received the wrong file.

The screenshots are there intentionally to help you get started quickly.

Why am I seeing screenshots first?

The first tab of the spreadsheet is a Getting Started / Overview page. It includes:

  • Visual previews of the template
  • Quick setup instructions
  • Guidance on how the system works

This helps new users understand how everything fits together before they start editing.

Where is the actual editable template?

The editable template is already included in the same spreadsheet — it’s just on a different tab.

Here’s what to do:

  1. Look at the bottom of the spreadsheet
  2. You’ll see multiple tabs (just like pages in a notebook)
  3. Click on the tab labeled something like:
    • Template
    • Weekly Tracker
    • Daily Habits
    • Dashboard
  4. That tab is fully editable

You can start using it right away.

Important: Don’t edit the screenshot tab

The screenshot tab is meant to stay as a reference.

To make sure formulas, graphs, and layouts work correctly, we recommend:

  • Using the template tabs at the bottom
  • Duplicating template tabs if you want multiple weeks or versions

Still can’t edit?

If you’re unable to type or make changes:

  • Make sure you’ve copied the spreadsheet to your own Google Drive
  • Click File → Make a copy (if you haven’t already)

Once it’s in your Drive, everything will be editable.

Quick reassurance

You did receive the full template — nothing is missing.
The screenshots are simply a visual guide, and the real working template is just one click away at the bottom of the sheet.
